A Christmas Prayer
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and joy as we celebrate the birth of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Thank You for sending us the greatest gift, the gift of Your presence among us.
Lord, we remember the humble manger in Bethlehem where You, the King of Kings, entered into our world. You didn’t come with the grandeur and power we expected, but instead with love, humility, and peace. In that moment, You transformed the ordinary into something extraordinary. You showed us what it truly means to love.
We ask that this Christmas, You fill our hearts with Your peace. May we not be distracted by the busyness of the season, but instead, take time to pause and reflect on Your love for us. Help us to recognize Your presence in the people around us, in the moments of silence, and in the simplicity of this holy season.
Jesus, You are the Light of the World. We pray that Your light would shine in our lives—guiding us, healing us, and leading us closer to You. May we reflect Your love to others, especially to those who are lonely, hurting, or in need this Christmas.
We also lift up our families and friends. Bless them, Lord. May they experience Your peace, Your love, and Your joy. We pray for all those who are struggling this season—those who are facing illness, loss, or hardship. May they know that You are with them, and that You have not abandoned them.
We offer this prayer to You with hearts full of love and gratitude, trusting that You will continue to lead us closer to You each day. We give You all the glory this Christmas and always.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
